Even small overvoltages can disable sensitive electronic equipment, computer networks and computer-controlled production systems in fractions of a second. This eliminates the risk of fires in the distribution box due to sparking.

The OBO range of systems for external and internal lightning protection is also complete. All components have passed the tests imposed by the Lightning Protection and EMC Technology Centre in Menden and have the corresponding test marks and certificates.
