JOINT WITH NEEDLE-ROLLER BEARINGS
The execution with needle-roller bearings is different from the normal universal-joints because of the introduction of a pair of long-life needle-roller bearings, where the pivots rotate. The joint pivots are made in high-strength steel and treated on the surface in order to resist to wears and they are constrained in the central joint nugget. Moreover, between the forkwings and the flat surfaces of the nugget there are some antifriction shaving rings, which absorb the side thurstes.
