ESTRAMET® BF 40 is based on synthetic ester oils and has been in operation for many years. Considerable reductions in concentration are possible versus conventional, mineral oil based cutting fluids, due to the performance capability of ester oils, and that means reduction in consumption and saving in costs.
ESTRAMET® BF 40 is very suitable for machining hard to machine materials, e.g. high-silicon content aluminium alloys.
