The refrigerator cryostat RDK basic unit includes a two-stage cold head of the COOLPOWER series. Its high refrigerating capacity at low temperatures in the range of 6 to 320 K (RDK 6-320) permits experiments which previously could not be performed by relying on refrigerators.
