Low pressure preheater for steam turbine feed water
OHL
Preheaters are for the purpose of preheating feed water. It typically involves U-pipe heat exchangers. Accessibility of the tube sheet for possible maintenance work is available on the tube side through a manhole and removable lid in the chamber deflection device. Through this, the use of expensive device flanges is no longer necessary for removable covers.
Depending on the medium these heat exchangers are equipped with a baffle plate of an additional inner jacket. The heating surface tubes are guided into baffles or support grids in a vibration-free manner. They are rolled or welded into the tube sheet. A combination of rolling in and a single-layer welding seam is also a very effective design.
Steam is distributed evenly through a steam channel. A sub-cooling zone that is separate from the condenser can be integrated into the heat exchanger.
The tube bundle is mounted on sliding rails. Large tube bundles receive additional rollers for support with assembly.
