OHL

OHL offers heat condensers as 2-way or multi-way devices, depending on the required output. Depending on the requirement, a sub-cooling zone/hotwell can be envisaged as a pump receiver. Our heat condensers can be controlled on the steam side/condensation side (storage level control).

OHL’s patented VDU type heat condenser – vertical heat condenser with condensation sub-cooling, continuously adjustable from 0 – 100%.
The VDU is a vertical condenser (NDV or Heiko) with a steam inlet at the top and a water chamber at the bottom. This way, it can easily be emptied on the shell side and tube side. Through a patented condensation duct to the shell side, safe and highly efficient sub-cooling of both partial condensation flows is achieved in contraflow. A power control above condensation storage of 0 – 100% is, of course, also possible.
