Furthermore, the system makes it possible to recover the solvents released by the process. For drying products containing solvents, a model for the EX area is also possible. At the core of the system is a double-walled rotation drum made of stainless steel, with welded-on cones, filling and emptying openings and manhole supports on both sides. Depending on the application, the double shell, box feet and insulation covering are made of stainless steel. Upon request, special types of steel are also possible. The heating medium is distributed evenly within the double shell by distribution pipelines across the drum heating surface. For the drive and bearing, the dryer is equipped with two hollow shafts. On shaft, supported in a fixed bearing, serves as a drive shaft and heating medium inlet and outlet. The opposite shaft, supported in a floating bearing, serves as a vacuum connection. The double-cone system is designed for temperatures of between 50 and 250˚C, as well as pressures from the excess pressure range up to an end vacuum of < 0.1 mbar. All systems are designed according to a modular principle. OHL supplies systems from 15 litres for laboratories and technology, right up to 20 m3 for industrial systems.
