Compression pipe fittings with AISI 316 stainless steel Ti as per DIN 2353

OLAB Series 5000 fittings, constructed entirely out of AISI 316Ti stainless steel, satisfy the DIN2353 standard and are of the olive type (or compression type), in which the olive simultaneously makes the pressure seal and secures the pipes.
These are fittings expressly conceived for high pressure uses (over 250 bar), reached above all in the hydraulic field, in static conditions (in other words vibration free) and are especially suited to high temperature applications as they do not have elastomer gaskets.
The fittings were designed for use with metal pipes (copper, brass, steel): nevertheless, with the softer pipes (e.g. copper) we recommend using reinforcement bushings (catalogue article 5017) at the pipe ends to prevent the olive from crushing them.
