Vandal resistant sealed switches feature robust bodies and buttons manufactured from stainless steel which provides a high resistance to corrosion and harsh use.
Prevention of damage to the switch mechanism by blows to the operating button is afforded by sturdy shoulders within the switch body to limit button travel. Additionally, panel and barrier seals provide protection against ingress of dust and water to IP66. Designed with a threaded body, the switches are secured with a single nut, eliminating the need for studs or other mounting hardware. Illuminated pushbuttons, indicators, piezo and modular versions complete the range. Applications include: access control, public information systems, vending machines, process control, lifts, automatic barriers and the food processing industry, telecommunication and interphone systems.
