Fabricated Thermowells with Compression Gland •Low Cost •Easy to Install •½" BSPT Process Connection •For 3 or 6 mm Diameter Probes OMEGA's range of fabricated stainless steel thermowells with an integral compression fitting are designed for use with our 3 or 6 mm diameter thermocouple or Pt100 sensors. They are ideally suited to applications where the sensor may need to be removed without affecting the process, such as in pipes and tanks. The insertion length is measured from the base of the threads to the tip of the thermowell. The combined length of the process fitting and compression gland is approximately 50 mm, so the thermowells will work with probes at least 50 mm longer than their insertion length.
