Description

The PXM300 series industrial pressure transducers combine two of OMEGA's precision manufacturing techniques. A precision micromachined silicon sensor is used for low pressure ranges from 70 mb to 3.5 bar. It is protected by a stainless steel diaphragm. The pressure is transferred by a thin film of oil which assures the high accuracy and stability of the sensor.

Precision semiconductor strain gauges which are fused directly to the stainless steel diaphragm are used for medium and high gauge pressure ranges from 7 to 700 bar. They yield a durable and rugged bond which ensures high stability and a long life.

The PXM300 series transducers are available in absolute or gauge (relative) pressure. Depending on the model, they are sealed to an IP65 or IP67 environmental rating.
