Musical instrument cleaning typically involves harsh acids, major instrument disassembly and tedious hand scrubbing with brushes. The time involved to clean an instrument by hand is at least five (5) minutes per horn. With ultrasonic cleaning, valves are removed, the horn and valves are placed in a water based chemistry and cleaned for less than one (1) minute. The parts are rinsed off with water, blown dry and reassembled. The ultrasonic method takes less than 3 minutes to complete versus 5-10 minutes the old fashioned way. Ultrasound is faster, safer, more thorough and more profitable.
