These are partly derived from the horizontal centrifugal pumps UND series, of
which they keep all the features.
The UND/II-IL centrifugal pumps obey and exceed by a large margin the ANSI/
ASME B73.2 standards for vertical chemical process centrifugal pumps for In-
Line mounting.
General Features
Capacity: up to 350 m3/h
Total pressure head: up to 210 m
Temperatures (normal series): from -30 ºC to +260 ºC
Pressures: from full vacuum to 26 Kg/cm2 (depending on the type of construction
material).
* Special execution allows reaching higher or lower temperatures: please
consult or Technical Departament (-100 ºC to + 315 ºC).
Features and Advantages of the Design
- Has its own bearing support.
- No need of drivers with special shafts, bearings of tolerances.
- The construction is completely "Back-Pull-Out"
- Shafts, bearings, packing housings, impellers, oil seals, shaft sleeves,
etc., have complete interchangeability with the horizontal UND process
pumps, except for the casing and bearing housing.
- Maximum shaft deflection under 0,002".
- Bearing sized for 2 years of minimum life operation under continuos work and
maximum load.
- Low NSPHR requiriments.
- Both, motor and pump form a compact aligned unit.
- Maximum interchangeability of pumps and components, the whole range of
pumps being covered by only two bearing frames.
