Description

High power laser diode module integrating two single-mode laser diodes for double output power

The diode lasers of the Bluephoton® / Greenphoton® / Redphoton® DualDiode Series are temperature-stabilized lasing diode modules, with two laser diodes of equal wavelength, whose laser beams are united over special co-linear optics. Through this, it is possible to quasi-duplicate the powers of single mode laser diodes available on the market. The only difference to laser diode modules with only one laser diode is that the DualDiode laser diode modules indicate a crossed polarization. All other beam parameters are identical, which means double power with equal quality. For all applications where the power of the single mode or multimode laser diodes available on the market no longer suffices, and linear polarization is not a prerequisite, the DualDiode modules are the correct selection. Many years of application in the printing industry (CtP Computer-to-Plate), direct silk screen slab illumination (CtS computer-to-screen) and in quality control, mean that unambiguous market advantages have been provided to the users of this technology, because double power also means double speed. A further advantage of the dual diode system is also the redundancy. If, contrary to expectation, one of the two laser sources should fail, the process can be maintained with the aid of the remaining source. The DualDiode laser diode modules are available in all laser variants as CWA, CWA.L, 150/500, DC180, PS350, A350 and TA Deepstar®. As a result of their intelligent laser controller with interface RS-232, these lasers can be integrated seamlessly into applications and controlled.
