For users needing both contact and non-contact measurement capabilities, the HT-5000 has them both, including non-contact line speed.

The use of visible light allows measurement anywhere on a rotating body. The measurement is as simple as applying a piece of reflective marker to the rotating

body and pointing the tachometer at the marker. The HT-5000 light emitting section uses a visible light LED, making it easy to verify the position of the light on the measured rotating body.

The HT-5000 has a wide measurement range of ( 6 – 99,000 rpm ) while in the non-contact mode and in the contact mode ( 6 – 20,000 rpm ).

There are five measuring units (rpm, rps, m/min., count and ms.) that can be used for different specific applications, along with an alarm that goes off to warn
you when you have exceeded the value you have set.

The large easy to read liquid crystal display is made even easier to read in low light situations, with the addition of the backlit function.
