OPAM Reagent Pump has been designed to replace dropping funnels in synthetic chemistry. It can also be used for many other purposes, where rather slow liquid transfer is needed in a laboratory.
Reagent Pump is a solenoid driven pulsating pump and the pumping speed is changed by adjusting the pulse repetition time. It keeps the flow rate constant as adjusted.
The wetted surfaces are made of teflon and its derivatives and therefore the pump can be used for practically all liquids used in a chemical laboratory. Cleaning is carried out simply by pumping solvent or other cleaning agent through the tubes.
External control can be achieved simply by cutting off- and on 12 V power supply. This can be made for example with OSP controller Output controls.
