line input/output ports and one pair of express input/output ports. It is
employed to a) multiplex 32 input optical channels (from Add ports)
and de-multiplex an aggregate of 100G DWDM channels (from the Line
input); b) monitor and attenuate the power of each channel going to the
output port; and c) use a 2x1 optical switch array to toggle between the
Add and Express input ports. All the re-configurable functions are of-
fered through the built-in control and network communication circuits
and a suite of NET-Ready firmware.
