Safety

The OPTEX OA-PRESENCE 2 is especially developed as a safety sensor. This sensor can serve as an extra safety sensor to protect the threshold against early closing of the door. Besides, there is also the possibility to position the sensor to create extra safety against pinch off near the door leaf during the opening movement.
Easy installation

The OPTEX OA-PRESENCE 2 is simple to install. All the settings are mechanically adjustable with dipswitch and levers.
Superior stability

AIR sensors and microcontrollers are generally immune to the effects of external factors such as rain, snow and insects.
Certification

The Optex OA-PRESENCE 2 is an active infrared safety sensor tested and approved by the German test organization TÜV and in compliance with DIN 18650 and the preliminary European norm prEN 12650.
Test output

The Optex OA-PRESENCE 2 are equipped with test outputs suitable for almost every automatic door, by choosing the right dipswitch setting.
