Polarizers reflect S polarization and transmit P polarization, Optida offers two kinds of polarizers: Brewster Plate Polarizers and Polarising Cube Beam-Splitters.
Plate polarizers are designed for 53-58 angle of incidence. Optida manufactures plate polarizers with maximum 99.8% reflectance for S polarization and maximum 99.8% transmittance for P polarization. However these characteristics are lower for near UV applications, like 266 nm. Target wavelengths of plate polarizers manufactured by Optida can range from 250 nm to 1500 nm.
Polarizing cube beam-splitters split incident beam into two s- and p-polarized output beams separated by a 90 degree angle for narrow wavelength region. Polarizing cubes could be produced to work for two, three or broadband range.
