The small size BGA inspection lens is very rigid for its size. With a foot print of only 0.75 x 6 mm, it can reach down for inspection on densely packed boards and offer a 50 microns stand-off. Working dinstance ranges from 0.8 to 8 mm. This lens snaps simply onto the Flexia Defenition microscope. In addition to BGA inspection, this lens can also be used for side viewing solder paste, flux mixtures, wetting and allows inspection of any component. The built-in, high-intensity and long-life LEDs provide adequate cold illumination without need of external light source. The stainless steel prism housing protects the optics from accidental damages.
