Description

Optocon's fiber optic temperature probe TS3 is designed for use in microwave and RF environments. Its outer jacket is made out PTFE, with an attached GaAs-crystal (gallium arsenide) at the sensor tip. It can measure temperature ranging from -200°C to +300°C at a constant accuracy of +/-0.2°C. The fiber optic temperature sensors are immune to RFI, EMI, NMR and microwave radiation. The length of the probe tip can be customized from 10mm to 130mm that is also available in the TS3 model. It has a response time of 2s and a maximum diameter of 1.7mm which enables it to fit in thin openings and deliver data in real time. All fiber optical temperature sensors are compatible with fiber optic temperature measurement devices (FOTEMP).
