The OPTRAL Media Converters extend the Ethernet network of 10/100Mbps or 1Gigabit over both multimode or singlemode optical fiber. The converters automatically detect the network configuration and operates at the suitable speed and protocol (full-duplex or half-duplex). The Led readouts provide information about the status of the network and facilitates the detection of failures.
