In boiler construction, automobile assembly and many other branches of industry, there is often a lack of light in the work area. The welder generally works in the dark until he strikes the welding arc, which could lead to costly damage of components. Sometimes light sources cannot be used due to the location or considerable costs for installation may be required.

This problem can be overcome, thanks to the optrel Helios. Three green LEDs integrated into the helmet illuminate the welding object during the preparation. As soon as the welding arc is ignited, the LEDs switch off automatically in order to prolong the life of the rechargeable battery. The DIN 9-13 cartridge enables protection for various applications and ensures complete comfort.
