OSAI

WinMedia is the new intelligent operator panel that provides a high-level Panel-PC, with pre-installed multilingual Windows XP Embedded and the new OSAI WinNBI interface operator in a network based Windows environment. This gives a user friendly operator interface complete with graphics in conjunnction with 10/510 Light.

With WinMedia, and the new OSAI WinNBI (Windows Network Based Interface), you have a user- friendly operator interface, with graphics, which can be customised with a mouse and "Point and Click" and "Drag and Drop" techniques. There is no need for in depth knowledge of programming within a Windows environment.

With WinNBI it is possible to create visual representations of test configurations without having to insertion of elements such as Axes, Feed. Speed, and G, M, T functions. You can modify fonts and colours, to produce different views each of which can be associated with one or more processes according to the specification required by the application. As well as being based on COM/DCOM technology aligned with the distributed architecture, WinNBI can interface with several CNCs and be distributed around different points of the factory network.

To satisfy all the functions required by a control unit, OSAI have introduced a new operator console , that can be connected to the CNC either through the new proprietary OS-WIRE bus or through the standard CANOpen interface.
