Why a disc cutter?
- Multiple passes must be made when cutting a wide range of workpieces on compact machines, which create offsets at the lapped areas.
- On a compact machine limited to a total tool weight of 3 kg including the arbor, the conventional ø125 steel cutter was overweight.
- Meanwhile, an aluminum body cutter that solves the weight issue requires a special arbor that extends the tool protrusion.

Solutions
- Arbor-and-cutter developed under a new concept. Made of steel, yet it is
thin, lightweight, and offers a high level of tool rigidity. Thus, highly efficient
cutting can be realized through the use of a large-diameter cutter, which could not be used in the past!
