Number of axes:
The BEA 16 CNC is a machining unit that is an autonomous and programmable. It allows to work all types of machining functions such as drilling, reaming, tapping and countersinking. The working cycles can be programmed along with a digital AC-servomotor, and there are very short cycle times of less than 2 seconds whenever there is a continuous load.
The variable spindle speeds can be programmed with the use of a frequency inverter for three basic speed ranges: 2001200, 2002400, 2004670 RPM. These can also be adjusted with the use of interchangeable timing belt pulleys and timing belts. There is a chrome-plated quill and honed spindle housing available for prolonged service life.
The unit, along with the HSK40 spindle has a 4-point clamping set form C that is used for manual tool clamping.
