Their advantage is that they can be used in inaccessible places or closed devices, as they can be remote-controlled.
The motorized iris diaphragms are delivered in housing and are compatible with the System SYS 65, this means that they have an optical height of 32.5 mm.
The motorization is available in two different types, either with 2-phase step motor with gear or with DC servo motor with encoder and gear. The iris diaphragms are equiped with two limit switches to indicate the end positions (iris diaphragm open or closed).
Totally closable iris diaphragms consit of two lamella sets with 2.8 mm distance.
