Functionality - The contaminated exhaust air is irradiated using UV-C tubes (photozoic lamps). UV-C light and active oxygen (O3) induce a photolystic oxidation: organic, fatty and odour generating substances suffer „cold combustion“. - Grease load in the exhaust air system and the odour emission in the environment are significantly reduced, minimising the risk of fire. - Products of the oxidation such as CO2 are discharged through the exhaust air stream. - The system remain fully operational even when dealing with very high ambient temperatures and increased discharged air speeds, without losing effectiveness.
