The towline conveyors may be used in variety of operations where, carrying products on mobile cart is beneficial. Some products may be considered as conveyable because of their configuration, size and shape like large four legged furniture items. The PACLINE developed PAC-TRAK™ uses the mobile carts which consists of rotating top, where the item to be conveyed is placed. To propel the cart through the process, variety of floor mounted conveyors are used. It depends on the loading, preferred configuration & speed. The PAC-TRAK™ towline conveyor system may be designed with the on-floor or in-floor tracks. Without trenching, the on-floor conveyors can be attached to the floor surface. In such a situation, forklifts will not be allowed to drive in the area of the conveyor and a plant personnel must walk over the track. Drive unit can be mounted above the floor or may be situated in pit.
