A number of industries use seawater or surface water for the cooling process. An unwanted side effect is that contaminantion through minerals or organic materials in the water can lead to serious malfunctions in the cooling process. Consequently, there is a demand for a reliable and cost-effective means of thoroughly cleaning the process water. This has motivated HETA Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, which is part of the PACO Group, to develop the automatic HETA HSA filter system. Continuous operation is ensured by its self-cleaning capability. HSA filter system applications range from the chemical industry through petrochemicals or power stations to large shipyards and sewage treatment facilities.
