The re-chipper, series PSN is used for the economical re-chipping of waste wood such as butt ends, gang saw waste, veneer plywood and particle wood waste, screening rejects etc. The machine can be mounted under the gang saw without an intermediate bin.

Method of operation:
The material is vertically or diagonally fed into the chipper chamber from above. Individual adaptation of the infeed chute to various materials guarantees optimum feeding. Feeding can be performed either directly from the preliminary operation phase by a conveying system like a conveyor belt or a vibratory feeder or by hand. The rotor is equipped with pre-adjusted knives. These knives grab the material which is then chipped on the stator knives installed in the machine housing. Material fineness is determined by the perforated screen size installed in the housing under the rotor, through which the material discharged. A quick screen change allows for a quick change of the end fineness. The chipped material can be transported mechanically or pneumatically.
