Panasonic is proud to present the new version of our well-known machine vision software, Vision P400, which will be available as of December 2010.

Version 5.0 provides several significant enhancements:
As of this version, Vision P400 supports the GigE Vision® interface standard. In addition, we now offer an attractive range of GigE Vision camera models with resolutions of VGA to 5 megapixels, optionally with Power over Ethernet (PoE).
Vision P400 is now available as a standalone product; that is, if your own dedicated hardware is already in place, you can still take advantage of our first-rate machine vision software.
Licenses are managed with a USB dongle that is either installed in the controller (P400 series) or delivered with the standalone product. Thus, you can transfer an existing Vision P400 license to a new PC simply by changing the dongle - which can be particularly useful in the case of system crashes, replacements, PC upgrades, and so on.
Additional new features include:

Multiple functions with enhanced image filenaming based on filename templates.
Improved line scan camera support.
2D Code Reader: For codes with small module sizes, a new parameter ensures outstanding code reading stability.
1D Code Reader: The checker delivers quality results in accordance with ISO15415.
