The Model D20 laser marking machine is ideal for fast marking on high-speed production lines. Diode-pumped lasers are an attractive alternative to lamp-pumped laser marking machines. While similar in construction to a lamp-pumped system, the diode laser uses a diode pack to pump (energize) the crystal. The diodes use less energy to generate the same relative power output as a lamp-pumped laser. Because of the increased efficiency, less heat is generated so an external chiller is not required.
