Description

Parker Prâdifa's PTFE sealing solutions are used in a variety of markets including fluidpower, aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, life sciences and renewable energies. PTFE seals are suitable for use in harsh environments with températures ranging from cryogénie to 300 °C in combination with highly aggressive media. Mixing Virgin PTFE powder with diverse fillers provides PTFE with spécifie properties. For high-speed dynamic applications or extreme pressures, Parker's proprietary Polon" PTFE grades and spécial seal designs are used. Sealing éléments or backup rings made from oth-er engineering polymers such as PEEK, PAI or PI complément the product range for applications where combined pressure and température loads push the limits of PTFE-based seals. Continu-ous in-house research and development in the field of ultra-high-strength thermoplastic composite materials results in solutions for even the most demanding application requirements. In-house machining technology enables the production of PTFE seals in diameters ranging from 0.5 mm to 4.5 meters. Clean-room manufacturing facilities are available as well for respective requirements, for instance in the medical device technology and life sciences sector.
