Speed and precision: the airfit control programme of electronically controlled pressure regulators measures up to these challenges.
The regulation processes of the highly compact airfit tecno can hardly be beaten for speed and accuracy: 2 milliseconds after the command for a pressure change the Piezo valve sends a pilot signal to the main valve. 4 milliseconds later the pressure change takes effect at the regulator’s outlet. The resulting dynamics: with small air volumes a limit frequency of 43 Hz is achieved, i.e. around 43 pressure changes per second.
