This coupling of the 76 series was made by Parker. It has a Snap-tite design that screws together and works well in situations where the pressure is exceedingly elevated. It is completely interchangeable with units made by other companies, yet the rapid disconnections provided by it, function under greater working pressures than those made by competing brands.
These couplings are very useful for bolt tensioners, rescue equipment, portable hydraulic ramps, pumps and a variety of high impulse fields. For excellent safety and strength, these have a threaded, heavy-duty retainer, and are made of strong steel with yellow dichromate plating made of zinc.
To provide higher flow rates than ball check styles and also eliminate leakage, these devices have poppet valves that are soft-seated. Working pressures of up to 1,000 bar or 14,500 psi can be handled by these devices. 1/4" and 3/8" are the sizes that these come in. A vast array of end fittings are offered for these couplings, which provides versatility to customers.
