The STV valve bag sealing system has been developed in order to offer a more reliable solution to closing valve bags which, due to the
regulations governing a number of industries, must be sealed to avoids contamination and leakage of product.
STV can be installed in new PFG-10 air packers or can be incorporated in existing machines which need to be brought into line with new
regulations. It can also be used simply in those applications requiring a sealed, completely closed bag.
Hermetic bag closing avoids contamination and leakage of product.
The production capacity of a bagging line featuring the ultrasound sealing of valve bags is around 240 bags per hour, depending upon
the product to be bagged and the size, weight and specifications of the bags to be filled.
To be sealed with this system, a valve bag must have an exterior valve or sleeve that incorporates a laminate of heat-sealable material,
polyethylene or surlyng.
