The Uni-Guide Driven System is based on a simplified, two-piece, aluminum rail and carriage assembly that is ceramic coated with an RC70 finish. The self-lubricating Frelon GOLD™ plane bearing material bonded to the carriage, eliminates all metal-to-metal contact, shaft damage, and does not require additional lubrication. This configuration is contamination resistant and maintains the vibration dampening characteristics of the slide.

Uni-guide driven systems are available in standard lengths with a precision lead screw drive mechanism installed. The lead screw is a 303 stainless steel with a TFE coating. The carriage is driven with a self-lubricating, polyacetal, anti-backlash nut that can driven by a standard NEMA 17, 23, and 34 stepper motors. Non-standard custom lengths and drive options are also available.
