The control unit together with a single-beam SL or SLA 12/29 series light curtain form a modular protection system.
The SC2/ SC4 provides the required supply voltages, triggers the transmitters, and evaluates the signals from the receivers. A corresponding safety-rated control signal (via two relays with force-guided contacts) is then available at the output. Depending on the type of light curtains used, the system's detection range can be up to 65 m.
