SCANEX is an intrinsically safe, industry-standard barcode reading system for hazardous areas (zone 1, 2, and 22) are used for computerized plant data collection for production, filling, metering, transport, storage and process automation. Two different versions are available: the intrinsically safe "Ex-Dragon D101" barcode scanner and the intrinsically safe "Ex-Dragon M101" mobile radio scanner.
