The MultiBlue™ Biotech CCD Camera offers a IEEE-1394b FireWire interface. This high resolution output is accomplished without cooling of the imager. By designing the MultiBlue™ camera with special attention to thermal handling, PerkinElmer has eliminated the need for an expensive, power-consuming cooling mechanism.
Applications for MultiBlue™ include: Gene research and therapy, genomic/proteomic sequencing and expression, gel documentation and drug discovery.
