The DigiPyro® Family of Digital Pyrodetectors

DIGIPYRO PerkinElmer's DigiPyro® Family - setting the digital standard in motion detection.

PerkinElmer is pleased to announce the newest members of the DigiPyro® family of digital output pyrodetectors, the DigiPyro Triple Channel PYQ 2898 Quad Element Detector, and introducing the new dual-channel models, the DigiPyro® PYD 1988 and DigiPyro® PYD 1978. They join the DigiPyro® PYD 1998, the first member of the DigiPyro® family of digital motion detection solutions.

The newest models, the PYD 1988 and PYD 1978, utilize the same dual-element configuration with an integrated A/D converter as the DigiPyro® 1998 model but are now available with two new, cost-effective window detection sizes.

The DigiPyro® Triple Channel PYQ 2898 Quad Element Detector offers a quad element configuration with two pairs of elements representing two channels and a third channel for temperature reference.
