For applications in potentially explosive atmospheres, PFLITSCH offers the widest cable gland range, certified in accordance with the current ATEX directive for the application fields G (gas) and D (dust) in equipment class II and in ignition protection class e (explosion-proof) and d (pressure-resistant encapsulation).
Approved for the ignition protection class e in the application fields G (gas) and D (dust) are the UNI Dicht ATEX gland types made of metal (brass and stainless steel) in M 10 to M 85 and Pg 7 to Pg 48, as well as those made of plastic in M16 to M50 and Pg 9 to Pg 36. The sensitivity to dust-endangered areas is on the increase - not only in the chemical, pharmaceutical or food industries, but also in agriculture, wood-working and the metal industry.
