MBP Multihead Weighers has now come out with an innovative line called Series C4. These multihead weighers are part of the high-speed precision weighing sector for products which are easily damaged and delicate. These are characterized by dual feeding of two weighing channels which run in parallel, by two vibrating loading plates. This design sets them apart from the traditional weighers. The weights are combined in the same way, and product damage is avoided by the absence of product chutes. The discharged products are collected from the weighing buckets by a pair of removable belts. Here they are conveyed to the center of the weigher, to join a vertical vertical packaging machine. The formed tube or multiple phaser is fed into a machine which thermoforms or thermoseals the products. Throughout the process, the drop height for the delicate products is minimized so that they remain intact.
