Air coupled acoustic sensor

PAC offers air-coupled AE sensors which detect acoustic signals such as leaks and sounds indicative of failure, "through the air". Generally, air coupled sensors can monitor large volumes more effectively (using less sensors) than standard, direct coupled AE sensors. However, due to their lower frequency nature, they must be applied carefully, to avoid unwanted noise pickup from ambient process sounds and air currents
