PAC has a complete range of Intrinsically safe AE sensors which are ATEX certified when used with our 1276 Preamplifier, 1276 & 1278 IS-ASL 4 - 20 milliamp AE subsystem and Intrinsically safe barrier. These sensors are rated to be used in the most severe gas environments, including hydrogen and Acetylene with ATEX ratings of Group II, Zone 1, G (for gas) and D (for dust), and ratings of EExia IIC-T4. An entire range of sensors covers frequencies from 4.5 kHz to over 1 MHz and wideband sensors. These sensors (and associated electronics) are used in AE applications in petro-chemical plants and anywhere there is combustible liquids, gases and dust particles.
