The system detects leaks in valves and determines the rate of leakage in a matter of seconds. A microprocessor based algorithm is embedded in the product to reduce background noise and to accentuate leak signals above the noise.
With this instrument, plant maintenance staff can be trained in minutes to find the leaks and quantify the leak rates. With data downloaded to a simple MS ExcelTM spreadsheet, plant operators can easily prioritize which leaks to fix, and help companies make the most of their limited maintenance budgets.
