The SB 22 is a special design to be mounted on vertically installed motors and gearboxes. The SB 22 offers for the first time the possibility to use a thruster disc brake on horizontally arranged brake discs.
In combination with a connection flange and cover, it represents a good alternative to the conventional motor-integrated brakes. The brake is equipped with all modern features such as automatic wear compensator and optional sintered linings.
