The PivaPunch Punching Centers for Coil designed for versatile punching of blanks straight from the Coil offer short cycle times and short set-ups between batches. They are designed both for thin and thick plate applications.
PivaPunch Punching Center for Coils consists of:

PivaPunch for sheet thickness up to 3,5mm

* Coil handling equipment which is selected per customer's need

* Straightener to eliminate the coiling tensions or a leveler for flattening

* CNC Feeder to position the strip for punching and cutting-to-length

* Punching Station using Thick Turret type tooling set in Quick-Change
ToolCassettes capable of punching, nibbling, embossing, making of
lances, louvers, etc..

* Cut-to-length Shear as standard for cutting-to-length

* Automated stacking equipment configured to customer's need.
A stacker makes it possible to run PivaPunch unattended

* Complete electrical system with Siemens Sinumerik line controller
and hydraulics with covered power pack

At the heart of...

PivaPunch is a simple tool cassette. Rather than being built to rotate and move great distances between each punch, the tool cassettes are built to move as little as possible. It moves only in the Y-axis over the sheet metal. The sheet metal, in its turn, moves only in the x-axis.
