Description

FDA approved urethane sheets thicknesses range from 1/16″ to 6″ with widths to 48″ and lengths to 60″ are also available with a tolerance of +/-.060. Plan Tech for the last 30 years has been casting custom FDA approved urethane sheets to specifications and requirements our customers require. The tests are performed according to an established set of standards provided by an accredited testing organization such as the (Society for Testing and Materials ASTM) who define the procedures in detail. We have several high-tech urethane sheets casting tables with a tolerance of +/-.030 on any thickness urethane sheet up to 4’ x 4’. FDA approved urethane sheets is an inexpensive way that often times yields 100’s of parts from just one sheet. Often times we can go from print to finish FDA Approved Urethane Sheets in less than 3 weeks. For all FDA dry food approved requirements we use a specially formulated urethane and often times we will get a request for an additive that can be used with existing x-ray and metal detectors, by incorporating this additive if the part ever broke even the smallest fragment can be detected by a metal detector due to our high-speed mixer during manufacturing. The ability to blend the product allows us to fine tune how much additive is blended into the parts to ensure the end product will have all the physical properties you require for the application. This is a major improvement in both equipment and the ability to detect a problem before it reaches the final product. Improving delectability is key to prevent a major contamination which will save time, effort and money before the finished product.
